Editorial Standards: How the Breathizen Desk Checks Facts
The sourcing order, the hard rules and the correction process behind every page on this site, including the things we refuse to fabricate.
Where our facts come from
Every factual statement on this site comes from one of three source types, in this order of authority:
- The product label. We transcribe the Supplement Facts panel and label text from the seller's published label image and treat it as the reference for ingredients, serving and directions. A reader's printed bottle overrides it.
- The seller's own pages. Prices, packs, shipping, refund terms and contact details come from the seller's order, returns, terms and contact pages, re-read on the date shown at the top of each page.
- Public research and agency records. Health statements link to PubMed records, systematic reviews, NIH, FDA, EMA, NHLBI, MedlinePlus and similar sources. We record each PubMed ID and check every link before publishing.
What we never do
- We never invent a star rating, a review count, a customer name or a quote.
- We never publish lab numbers, certificates, batch IDs or test results we have not seen.
- We never name a reviewer or credential that does not exist.
- We never describe a study's result for a different dose, form or population as if it applied to this spray.
- We never tell readers to change or stop prescribed medicines.
When sources disagree
The seller's pages contradict each other on several points: the ingredient list, the start of the refund window, refund timing and support phone numbers. We show both versions, say which page each comes from, and base our advice on the label or the stricter policy reading.
Money and independence
We are paid a commission when readers order through our links. The seller does not review, approve or pay for any page content, and the commission does not depend on what we write. Our score and cons stay on the page whether or not they help sales.
Corrections
Email [email protected] with the page and the issue. We verify against the source, correct the page, and change the update date. Substantive corrections are noted in the affected section.
